Faith doesn't grow in a vacuum. Our congregation is shaped by our faith heritage and committed relationships to our larger faith family in Elkhart county, the state of Indiana, the nation, and our global partners around the world.
Goshen First Brethren Church is affiliated with the Brethren Church based out of Ashland, OH. In our region, we have the privilege of partnering with our retreat center at Camp Shipshewana - a peaceful place to remove distractions and encounter God in nature. THE VISION
We long to make Jesus known to Goshen, to Indiana, and to the ends of the earth. We accomplish this through witness to our local community, investment in church planting efforts in our region, and robust relationships with global partners.
community witness
We don't just believe the Gospel, we live it. We are driven by a conviction that Jesus' transforming and saving power ought to make a difference for our community. Whether it's through our thrift store, serving at downtown events, or simply meeting others' needs in everyday life, our congregation is wired to follow Jesus' example of love so that others can get to know him, too.
